随着德国菲德烈斯哈芬所举办的欧洲户外展（7月17日—7月20日）的到来，整个户外产业也迎来了第三届户外产业奖评选活动。8年6月6日前递交他们参赛的产品来角逐今年的。
申报项目包括：服装、鞋类、背包、行李卷、登山装备、露营装备、睡袋、水上运动装备和其他的一些辅助零件。
专家评审团包括：oris Gnielka（outdoor杂志）、Mark Held（EOG）、lan Hinkes（Abenteurer）、Rolf Reinschmidt（阿迪达斯）、Martin Willners （Sportfack Sverige）、Olaf Wittayer （Sport 2000 – die Outdoorprofis），他们还将在这些单项奖得主中评选出最具创意的产品，颁发金、银、铜奖。奖项评定结果将于7月17日（户外展的第一天）召开的颁奖仪式上公布，所有的获奖作品也将在17日到20日的展会上展出。
OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD 2008
With this year’s OutDoor tradeshow in Friedrichshafen approaching fast (July 17 to 20, 2008), the entire Outdoor industry is invited to submit their products by June 6, 2008 to compete for the OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD 2008.
Entries will be accepted in the following categories: Apparel, Shoes, Backpacks/Travel luggage, Mountain-climbing equipment, Camping equipment, Sleeping bags, Water sports and Accessories. In addition to honoring the winners in each category, the jury of experts, consisting of Boris Gnielka (outdoor magazine, Motor Presse Stuttgart, Stuttgart/D), Mark Held (European Outdoor Group, Zug/CH), Alan Hinkes (Abenteurer, North Yorkshire/GB), Rolf Reinschmidt (adidas AG, Herzogenaurach/D), Martin Willners (Sportfack Sverige, Stockholm/S) and Olaf Wittayer (Sport 2000 – die Outdoorprofis, Limburg/D), will also present additional gold, silver and bronze awards for the most innovative products among the award winners. The winners of these special OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD 2008 prizes will not be announced until the Awards Ceremony, which is scheduled to be held on July 17, the opening day of the OutDoor tradeshow in Friedrichshafen. All the winning products will be on display during the tradeshow in Foyer West on the ground floor from July 17 to 20.
