两户外公司荣获09“美国最适合工作的公司”奖
　　近日，美国《户外》杂志颁发了“美国最适合工作的公司”奖，共有30个公司获得该奖项，其中，2个户外公司榜上有名：Deckers公司和Osprey公司。
　　美国Deckers公司荣获了美国《户外》杂志颁发的“美国最适合工作的公司”奖。Deckers公司旗下品牌主要有：Teva、UGG、Simple、TSUBO和 Deckers。共有30个公司荣获殊荣，Deckers公司位居第26。Deckers 公司总裁兼首席执行官Angel Martinez对此表示，“很高兴获得该奖项，这也是第二次获得该奖。向全球的Deckers员工表示祝贺！只要我们继续信任和相互支持，未来的发展会更好的。”此外，Osprey公司也获得该奖项，位居第15名，这也是该公司第二次获此殊荣。Osprey总裁兼首席执行官Tom Barney表示，“我们一直支持我们的员工参与户外活动，感受自然。我们努力工作，同时也享受自然的乐趣。”
　　参赛的公司必须提交“员工满意度调查”，该调查主要是收集员工福利信息：补贴、福利政策、工作满意度、工作环境以及社区等等。这些结果由专门的“最适合工作的公司”小组评选，最佳的30个公司才能获得“美国最适合工作的公司”奖项。
　　美国《户外》杂志编辑Michael Roberts评论道：“这30个获奖公司的共同点就是：无论在什么样的环境中都发展较好、关心员工、致力与当地社区和环境的发展。他们还知道员工的待遇会以及员工的心情是发展的基本原则。所以，在目前的金融危机环境中，这些获奖公司依然给员工良好的福利待遇：健身班、健身房会员资格、滑雪、工作期间的放松时间、旅行福利待遇和机24小时社区服务。”
Outside Magazine Names Deckers Outdoor as one of America’s Best Places to Work
Deckers Outdoor Corporation, parent company for Teva®, UGG® Australia, Simple® Shoes, TSUBO® and Deckers® brand, today was named on Outside magazine’s (www.outsideonline.com) second annual “Best Places to Work” list. Deckers was ranked No. 26 out of 30 selected companies. The full list and related story will be published in the May issue of Outside magazine, available on newsstands April 28, 2009.

Outside’s “Best Places to Work” list was compiled with the help of the Outdoor Industry Association (outdoorindustry.org) and Best Companies Group (bestcompaniesgroup.com). The year-long selection process began with an outreach effort that identified a wide range of non-profit and for-profit organizations with at least 15 employees working in the United States. Participating companies were then sent confidential employee-satisfaction surveys and employer-questionnaires to collect information about benefits, compensation, policies, job satisfaction, environmental initiatives, and community outreach programs. All of the results were analyzed by Best Companies Group experts, who selected the 30 companies that best enable employees to balance productivity with an active, eco-conscious lifestyle.
“These 30 companies share a common belief: that the secret to success in any economy is empowering employees to live balanced lives and remain committed to their communities and the environment,” said Michael Roberts, Executive Editor of Outside. “Our winners know that happy workers are good for the bottom line. So even in the current financial storm, they’re offering on-site fitness classes and massage, reimbursements for gym memberships and ski passes, flexible hours, amazing travel benefits, and opportunities for on-the-clock community service.”
Along with this achievement, UGG Australia was awarded 2009 Brand of the Year from Footwear Plus while UGG Australia and Simple Shoes both were awarded 2009 Design Excellence from Footwear Plus.
